The goBRANDgo! Marketing Strategist Team headed to a Southwest Consulting Sales Conference last Thursday… and took over.  You could easily pick out the marketing company as we were the only ones shouting what we did by simply wearing our brand.  Next they had couple of key speakers: Rory Vaden talking about taking the stairs, Gary Michels offered 20 closing styles, and my favorite Speaker Ron Marks talking about Time Management.  We had the chance to meet some great people from just about every industry in between.  We were a little disheartened when they removed the coffee from the gathering area after the first speaker though.  Starbucks remedied that.

After lunch we split up into the different break out sections and made sure at least one of us was in each and every one and designated note takers to share what we learned later.  A lot of the same speakers and a couple new ones came out to talk about overcoming objections, selling to the sexes, navigating referrals, and a plethora of other topics.  A lot of the information we recieved was affirmation on that we already are doing the correct things, a couple things we will add to our arsenal, and yet still a couple that kinda rubbed us the wrong way.  Overall though it was a fantastic Conference.
