Strategist

We are seeking a rare and possibly mythic human creature to take on the unique challenge of joining goBRANDgo! as our next Strategist. This person will partner with owners and leadership teams of companies to develop and execute a marketing strategy that can solve real business problems. In other words, if boldly pushing clients toward success sounds like a good time to you, then you may just be the unicorn we’re looking for in the herd of regular old horses. Responsibilities:

  • Define brand and project KPIs that measure progress toward key business objectives

  • Lead exercises to discover information needed to develop client companies’ brand messaging, unique selling proposition, and business goals (ideal outcome)

  • Develop long-term and short-term marketing plans that achieve client business goals

  • Clearly understand and act on behalf of client business and brand objectives

  • Analyze and present findings of marketing metrics

  • Manage and grow client relationships

  • Respond to challenges and identify unmet needs

  • Conduct competitive analysis, build ROI frameworks, write briefs and create presentations and reports for existing clients and new business prospects across B2B

  • Translate research into actionable insights

  • Translate brand strategy into customer experience

  • Collaborate with internal teams to execute strategic plans with discipline

  • Oversee the execution of marketing strategy and plans in conjunction with account managers

 

Requirements

  • 6+ years experience in a strategic role (planning, strategy, media, sales, content, business). Prior agency experience a plus.

  • Creative and analytical thinker

  • Brand positioning, platform and message development

  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills and a knack for guiding teams to decisions.

  • Motivated self-starter with a problem-solving mindset

  • Constantly curious with a high desire to learn new things

  • Think logically with a common sense approach

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills

  • Proven ability to develop successful B2B lead generation programs

  • CRM / Marketing automation experience a plus

  • Web development experience a plus

  • Experience with digital marketing for B2B campaigns a plus
