Upon starting this website redesign with ej4 we knew it would be different from previous redesigns that we had done. Their site was already decent and was only about 5 years old. Because of this we knew that just a high-quality designed website was not going to greatly improve free trial signups and ultimately sales. With this realization we knew the strategy behind the website had to be solid. Defining clear user personas and learning everything but their deepest, darkest secrets was first. This allowed us to structure the site in a way that would be optimal for easy and efficient navigation. A strategically structured site set us up wonderfully to nudge our users towards ideal outcomes such as free trial signups and email submissions. On top of all that we created a fun and simple user interface to keep users engaged and happy while visiting. In conclusion, we were able to redesign an already decent website to help ej4 increase their conversions and user engagement by putting our thinking caps on.
